Welcome to WebsiteForums.org!
Fancy seeing you here on our rules page, we like you already. Have a look at our general rules for our forum to make sure that your stay here is as enjoyable as it can be!

  1. Bullying - Bullying is wrong and we take offence to that. Bullying has been a major part of depression, suicide, and other negative feelings in people. We here at WebsiteForums want to make it as enjoyable for everyone. So therefore, if you bully others in any way, you will be kindly removed from the forum without questions.
  2. Taunting - Taunting others in the forum is not a kind thing to do. Challenging someone or provoking someone in a insulting way will not be tolerated on these forums. You will face disciplinary action if this is noticed.
  3. Insulting - Insulting other members or staff will not be tolerated. You will be removed from the forum.
  4. Hacking / Illegal Activity - Hacking discussions or activities that are illegal are not allowed to be posted here on WF. Content will be removed.
  5. Exploiting - Showing off exploits is not the best way to show that you are "cool". The cool thing would be to report them! WebsiteForums is about webmasters and others enjoying websites, lets not make a bad experience by posting exploits! Please do not post an exploit publicly if you are trying to make awareness to it. Send it to a member of the team and we can help get the word to the correct people.
  6. Spamming - Spamming just makes a mess and we do not like messes around here. Please refrain from posting spam around the forums. Spam can stand for anything that does not add beneficial information to a topic or any topics being posted just to advertise your signature or the content in the post. If the posts do not add any benefit to the topic or the category, it may be removed. Spamming also includes any posts that are extremely short just to boost your post count.
  7. User Tagging - WF has a feature where you may tag a certain person on the forums to make sure they see your post about them. This feature must not be abused. If abused, we will remove your ability to tag others.
  8. Inappropriate Content - You may not link, in any manner, to sites or images containing pornography, sexually explicit, gross violence, or are determined by moderators to be detrimental to the community.
  9. Advertising - Promoting your website is only permitted in your signature or in forums where the description specifically states that advertising is permitted, such as Website Showcase and Web Hosting Offers. Advertising through private messages or profile posts is prohibited.
PENALTIES
Down below, you will fine the penalties for breaking the said rules above.

  1. You will be immediately banned from the forums for no less than 3 months. No second accounts will be allowed. It will be to the staff discretion to amend this rule to give a higher infraction based on severity.
  2. Your violating content will be removed and you will receive a 2 week ban.
  3. Insulting others or staff will result in your account being banned for no less than 6 months.
  4. Your account will be banned indefinitely and your violating content removed.
  5. The violating content will be removed and your account banned for no less than 6 months.
  6. Violating content will be removed and a warning placed on your account. Too many of these warnings will result in your account losing privileges to post on the forum for 1 week or longer.

This rule is officially in effect as of December 3rd, 2017. This issue was extensively discussed by the Community Council. Feel free to create a topic in the Community Room if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks!
